I went to the Container Store yesterday. I love that place! I found this item on sale and I brought it home.

See it in action. You can pin stuff on it and it's magnetic (and you can't tell from the picture, but it stands by itself). It's really improved my lace knitting...ha ha.

This is the Peacock Feathers Shawl pattern. That circle with a 2 in it is a double yarnover. If you've never attempted a double yarnover, I highly recommend it. It's so much fun!

I bought a cone of yarn. ha ha. I bought it from Webs; it's Jaggerspun Zephyr in Sable, a pretty, warm, coppery brown. I didn't want to knit a blue/green peacock; I guess my shawl will be more like a plain brown pea hen.
