I received a belated birthday gift from my sister. It's from Curious Yarns in the UK.

Here are some lovely skeins of sock yarn:

From left to right, the colors are Heathertop, Beach, and Bec Loves Tigger.

Here is some Gleaming a 4ply silk yarn (not sure of the color, the skeins were not marked)

Thanks little sister for my gift. How did you know I wanted to get into sock knitting?

I just got this is the mail today. Wow! Five skeins of Brooks Farm Yarn Four Play. $16 for 270 yards of this beautiful yarn is so worth it! Fast service too. I ordered it on Friday and it's already here!

This is a pretty accurate color. In the Brooks Farm Yarn website all the Four Play yarn looks so shiny, but in real life it's just lovely and lush.

I love this color that I ordered called "Patsy". I love the dark browns, reds, & purples. I'm going to knit something wonderful in homage to my funnly lovely girl Patsy:

Charlotte is almost finished. I only have 16 more rows out of 154 rows to go. Shawl Progress Calculator says I'm only 81% done! geesh!
